With all the effects, drum machine, connectivity and track recorder, it is considered an open door to your imagination... the limits of creation are up to you.
My only criticism is that the factory patches are so basic and raw, that usually left the new owners disconcerted, but later amused after tweaking the patches or downloading new ones from the community..
GNX4 is the best option; it won’t let you down…

I have owned the GNX4 for nearly two years and I can tell that there is nothing out there closer to this gadget. My multi-effect is a M Audio black box and I use two distortion pedals for my dirty tones. The Black Box is basically just used for reverb, delay, chorus, vibe, and sone really cool filter effects. I have a line 6 POD but prefer the black box because you can turn off the models and just use it for effect processing. The model are great as tone tools. Each amp model has its own unique tone and with a little experimentation you can find some really nice tones to compliment your other pedals.
Be creative and have fun. Think outside of the box and you soon create you own unique sound.

I use both pedals and a multi effect processor with great results. DigiTech GNX4 Guitar Workstation 2. Vox ToneLab LE Valvetronix Guitar Multi Effects Pedal and the 3. Roland GR-20 Guitar Synthesizer with GK-3.
