He's up there with the best without a doubt. I've listened to him keep up with the likes of Larry Carlton or Jeff Beck... When I think of all the projects Lukather has worked on its staggering... One such album is Boz Scaggs Middle Man. That LP reminds me of some pretty cool times in my life. I just love Steve's driving force, tasteful playing and great sound...
